There are two specifications of ammonium nitrate products produced in the company, that are the industrial crystallized ammonium nitrate (purity ≥ 99.5% ) and the liquid ammonium nitrate (concentration:  90-93%)。

The product quality conforms to the indexes of the excellent grade of industrial ammonium nitrate of the national standard (GB2945-1989).

The product of ammonium nitrate is the colorless orthogonal crystallization (crystal) or white fine granular crystal, if heated, it can be decomposed into nitrous oxide and water and can explode at 400 ℃. It features in easy moisture absorption and caking, soluble in water, alcohol, acetone and ammonia and insoluble in ether.

Ammonium nitrate is a major raw material of explosive production for civil use, and if mixed with fuel oil, it can be used for the purpose of blasting; it can be widely used in mining, road construction, mountain moving and small blasting operations.

Liquid ammonium nitrate is mainly used in the manufacture of explosives; it is suitable for the colloidal and powder explosives, expanded ammonium nitrate explosive and water gel explosive. Using ammonium nitrate solution to directly manufacture explosives can save steam (without dissolving the solid ammonium nitrate), also can avoid danger factors caused by melting and handling etc.

Ammonium nitrate can be mixed with calcium carbonate, limestone or dolomite, also can make compound fertilizer including phosphorus nitrate fertilizers, such as Lutianhua brand binary, ternary nitro compound fertilizers, it can be widely used for economic crops.

Ammonium nitrate can produce potassium nitrate products after combination reaction with potassium chloride. At present, the potassium nitrate products in China are widely used in glass manufacturing, fireworks making and agricultural tobacco planting, etc. and the industrial outlook is in steadily rising trend, it becomes another important application of ammonium nitrate products.
